When something is going wrong right now, these are the pages to read:

The everyday repairs and fittings that keep a house running:

Blocked lines, slow drains and the camera work that proves the cause:

Repairs for units that can be fixed, replacements for units that cannot:
$0 call-out fees, available 24/7, and same-day where we can.

This suburb stayed farmland until the 1950s, when the 1952 subdivision and a garden-suburb promotion filled the hills and flats with rows of single-level detached houses. The great surge of building came through the 1960s and 1970s, and much of that brick and brick-veneer stock is still standing on its original pipes.
Some of the first houses from the early fifties subdivisions were plumbed with galvanised steel, and where nobody has repiped since, that old steel still runs through the walls, its scaled bore restricting flow and tinting the water brown.
Drains laid through the building surge are mostly earthenware, and their rigid joints crack and drop out of line as the reactive clay underneath shifts between seasons.
The big street and shade trees planted back when the garden suburb was promoted have had decades to grow, and they now tower over old drain runs through streets like Maundrell Terrace and Kirby Road.
Houses from the 1952 subdivision onward have cycled through several storage units, and the ones fitted around the early 2000s, often standing outdoors against a wall of a low-set house, are the cohort failing now.

Is it urgent? Here's what to do first:

Not sure which page is yours? These short pointers should settle it.
A pipe that has let go or a tank draining across the laundry floor counts as an emergency, and the emergency plumbing services page sorts the urgent from the merely annoying before you dial.
Taps, toilets, bathrooms and kitchens each have a page under general plumbing, along with gas fitting and the hunt for hidden leaks.
Sinks, sewers and stormwater each block for different reasons, and the drainage page explains which one matches your symptom.
Whether a tank is worth fixing or has simply reached the end of its run is a repair-versus-replace question, and our hot water page walks both paths.

The two Cabbage Tree creeks run over the low ground at Aspley's middle, and the council's mapped creek flood planning areas sit widest over exactly that country. The February 2022 flood event is part of this suburb's record as well, though Brisbane River flooding itself is not a worry this far north.
From November to March the storm season rolls through with hail, torrential rain and winds strong enough to strip a roof, and the low ground near the creeks holds water for days after a storm has moved on.
A heavy fall sends runoff off the hills down onto the creek flats, where pits can surcharge and a garage or laundry sitting below street level cops it first.
The clay and shale under the suburb swell in a wet summer and shrink through a dry winter, and that movement works a rigid drain joint loose over the years until it cracks or steps.
The research puts the long-run average near 1073mm a year, and most of it lands in the warm months, which is why we tell people on the flats to clear pits and downpipes before the season starts.

Every Aspley job comes with $0 call-out fees, and there's no extra cost for nights, weekends or public holidays.
We stand behind the work with our Fix-It-or-It's-Free guarantee (T&Cs apply), and if we're late, $100 comes off your bill.
Under QBCC No: 15024607, every job is done by a licensed plumber, and our labour carries a lifetime labour warranty.
We're licensed and insured, locally owned and operated, with flat-rate pricing.
Whatever the job, those are the same four promises you get, whether it is a washer in a laundry tap or a full drain rebuild.

We never quote blind, but the shape of a price is fairly predictable, and it helps to know what moves it.
A drain under a timber floor costs less to reach than one under a concrete driveway, and a hot water unit in a tight corner takes longer to swap than one standing clear of the wall.
A simple blockage clears in one visit, while a cracked or offset earthenware section needs repair work priced on its own merits.
The fixture you choose sets part of the figure, and we quote it line by line so you can see exactly where the money goes.
Fixing a leaking joint costs more than clearing a one-off blockage, but it ends the repeat visits, and our quote shows both paths where they exist.
Our plumbers work the whole run of neighbouring suburbs, and each has its own page:
We also cover Bridgeman Downs and McDowall on the same circuit. Read more about who we are, see how to reach us, or browse the full question set.

You see flat-rate pricing with no hidden fees before the work begins. Say yes and we start.

A blocked drain gets cleared, then filmed if the cause is in doubt, and a failing hot water unit gets checked for the simple fix before anyone talks replacement.

Card or EFTPOS on site once the job's finished, or ask about Fix now, pay later.
Yes, every job we attend in Aspley is carried out under QBCC No: 15024607, a licence spanning plumbing, drainage and gasfitting, so the same registration stands behind our taps, drains and gas work alike.
You do, because we quote the job in full before any tool comes out, and the figure you approve is the figure on the invoice, with no surprises added once the work is underway.
We work same-day when we can, so an early call gives a plumber a clear run at your Aspley door before dark, and we say so straight when the day is already full.
Card and EFTPOS payment on site covers it, so when the work is finished you settle up on the spot, and there is nothing left to chase, transfer or post off to anyone later.
Our regular run covers Carseldine, Zillmere, Geebung, Chermside and Chermside West, plus Bridgeman Downs and McDowall, so a job anywhere on the Hypermarket's northern side is well within reach.
Ring (07) 3067 4272, describe the problem for us, answer a few quick questions so the right parts come along, and we'll arrange a visit and price the work up front before anything begins.
